A very long time ago, I spent 3 hours downloading Microsoft FrontPage Express , only to discover that I have the same problem that most web page designers have: nothing worth saying . Since then, much has happened. I got rid of FrontPage Express , replacing it with Netscape Composer , which I found to be a little better (and it came with a spell-checker). Then I tired of that, and decided to get rid of the entire NT machine .

I've installed Debian GNU/Linux , and there's no looking back (at least, not much looking back).

I experimented with a few Linux-hosted HTML editors, and eventually chose VIM .

I am a Light Cycle. I drive fast, I turn fast, I do everything fast. I even breakfast. I tend to confuse people with my sudden changes of heart. Sometimes I even confuse myself, which tends to cause problems. What Video Game Character Are You?

The reason for this page
I don't have anything interesting to publish here. However, since I received a new digital camera for my birthday, I am delighted to be able to provide everyone with a photograph of my coffee cup.

From this image, you will learn the name of a company that I once worked for (but no longer do), and the brand of camera that produced the image. You may also learn other things about me and my home. For example, I dribble when I drink coffee, I am a bit of a neatness freak (coaster), and the rest of my home is somewhat untidy. The barely-visible Valentine's day card in the background may lead you to suspect that I am involved in a long-term romantic relationship. I am, but my wife wisely won't let me put any pictures of her here. She has, however, consented to let me put a picture of her coffee cup here.

The above photo does not, however, give you any hints about my pets and/or children. This is mostly because it's a small image that simply doesn't show much, but it's also partly because I don't have any. We do, however, have some nice plants. I should warn you however, that none of our plants are Christmas trees. If you are interested in Christmas trees, you should look at the pictures from my Christmas vacation.
