Robyn, my digital camera, and I spent Christmas '97 with my parents. This is where I discovered that having a neat digital camera doesn't actually make me a better photographer, nor does it make my photographs more interesting.
I have to warn you: the following photographs are boring. I know and love these people, and I recognise all the places as where I grew up, so I don't find them quite as boring as I otherwise would. If you don't know and love the Richards clan, and/or Sault Ste. Marie, then I suggest you stop now.
These are the photos I took at my parents' house, of the immediate family. We also had the entire extended family (or at least quite a few of them) together in another party.
This is my Dad's dog, Bear. Bear is outside our back door, and clearly wants to be inside our back door.

This is me and my nephew Devin. Devin isn't really demonic, it's just red-eye caused by the flash. Some day I'll find software that fixes red-eye automatically. I tried to touch up the photo manually, but the resulting mess looked a lot worse than this.

This is Ashley, my #1 niece, and Devin.

Here's some photos of the whole gang taken Christmas day. They are (clockwise from left) Unknown (possibly Colleen), Dad, Mom, Bill, Devin, Ashley, Unknown (possibly Jan), Joshua (maybe, it's hard to tell with 1/2 head visible), the back of Jay's head, and Dan.

Colleen (top left), Mom, Dad, Someone's knee and foot, Someone Else's Foot, Devin, most of Joshua.
